50 golfers competed in the modality Stableford and besides the ususal two categories of men and women, prizes could be won at holes 13 and 9 and for the closest and longest ball.

At hole 15 the participants were awaited by Dino Ferrer, professional golfer, who played for a polo shirt with each participant.

The first category´s winner was Sean Muir Robertson with 38 points, and the second men category´s winner was Johannes Herterich with 34, and the only women category was won by Natasha Fear with 37 points.

After the competition a lovely lunch was served on the terrace of Hoyo 19, where the President of the Dénia Rotary Club, Ana Gandía, thanked all the players and different sponsors for making available the prizes for this tournament and their selfless assistance in this cause.

La Sella´s managment organized the transfer by buses to provide access to the Valencian golf course, which registered an enormous turnout of golf enthusiasts in reply to the great spectacle caused by the presence of the principal golf stars of the European Tour.

La Sella Golf members have always been known for being supportive of the professional golf.  Not in vain, this golf course in the Alicante region hosted successfully, among other prestigious competitions, the three editions of the European Ladies Nations Cup, attracting all of them a huge turnout of enthusiasts which made these events so special, praised on a national and international level by many institutions and the media.

The children forming part of the La Sella Golf Academy seized the opportunity to get autographs from the professionals at the Open de España, whom, whithout any doubt, they wish to emulate in the near future.

The exhibitions on the 15 April by Carlos de Moral and Jordi García del Moral, professional golfers of the Valencian Community, were in charge of striking the ball from the terrace of the hotel to a floatin green placed on the pier right opposite. On the ensuing day, Tuesday 16^th, it was José Manuel Lara, another Valencian player with an extraordinary sports career within the European Professional Circuit, performed another spectacular stroke from the L´Hemisferic.

The members of La Sella and golf players from the whole area, have joined this golf party in Spain, where José María Olazábal, Sergio García, Gonzalez Fernández Castaño together with international stars as the Molinari brothers, Levet or Casey, and for the days 20 and 21 April there are two busses prepared for those who wish to visit the El Saler course.

It´s necessary  to reserve, and there´s no time to lose, because nearly all the youngsters of the Acadamy along with many parents won´t  miss this event.
