La Sella Golf celebrates “The member´s day” to benefit of the Red Cross Dénia with more than 100 players

Even with the low temperatures, La Sella Golf members celebrate their traditional “member´s day”.

This year, the event had as an aim to collect money to help the Red Cross Dénia, reason why all the green fees of the day went to this important institution of social aid. At the end of the day, it was obtained 800€, which La Sella Golf gave to its president, Quique Sastre.

La Sella Golf celebrated also its 20 years of the openig of the club house.

The past Saturday from the 08:00 hours in the morning the members had special entretaiment in the course. From the first hole in which he had breakfast with coffee, chocolate and baker’s, until the hole 18 with mistela and candies, the players happened through different stages in which they could enjoy up to 5 positions of food and drink, including a shutdown with homemade cocas and refreshments or a complete barbecue with wine and drain. ” the members´s day” it is not a competition to the use reason why the players do not compete by a specific prize but to amuse itself reason why were challenges in different holes. All the pairs 3 had prize to the nearest ball. Also longest drive,  by the young promise of Valencian golf was contest of drive, Ester Herrero. But the most enjoyable hole was hole 8, with the contest of ” win the Pro”. The 100 players who play this hole had the opportunity to win the professionals of La Sella, Jose Manuel Carriles and Dino Ferrer. At the end of the day, 18 players won the professionals and obtained a prize. For hole 18, shorter pair 3 of the course, the prize was a trip with accomodation for a weekend to the Pula golf course in Mallorca, that Fernando Morón won after leaving his ball 90 centimeters to the flag.

At 5 pm a celebration with entertainers and DJ began, where the participants danced and enjoyed beer free, and that concluded with the delivery of the prizes.
