La Sella Golf, perfect venue for the I Golf Open of the Cadena SER radio station, an innovative tournament series of the Valencian Community

La Sella Golf, located in Denia in the autonomous region of Alicante has hosted with enormous success the I Golf Open of the Cadena SER,  an innovative tournament series being founded with the object to last. Due to its unique approach it is already reckoned to be a reference within the Valencian Community.

Nearly eighty golfers of all categories participated in the competition of one of the golf events that is supposed to form part of the best due to both, its large number of participants and a painstaking organization.

This I Golf Open for amateurs by Cadena SER comprises 9 competitions throughout the whole Valencian Community, all of them taking place on courses of a renowned prestige, such as the La Sella 27 hole golf course, designed by José María Olazábal, which ever since has been hosting professional and amateur tournaments on the highest level, among them the Ladies European Cup or various Spanish Championships of the professional women, all of them carried out with great success.

On this occasion, Javier Mut and Javier Sendra, both with 38 points, offered an exciting spectacle in the first category, while Waler Iusso, with 42 points defeated Manuel Serrano, with 41 in the second category. And finally, Francisco Vives, with 45 points, outshone Mark Mut and Ramón Reche –both with 40 points- in the last category.

Among the ladies, the best were María Eugenia Muñoz, Gabrielle Bott and Susana Gómez in first, second and third category.
